I've plugged the car into INPA and found these settings.... after playing around with the hand controls i managed to change it to the second lot of settings.... i've noticed the higher it goes, the more the right hand side struggles.... although it looks more level now than it did - thoughts?

Which is the "second lot"? The last line that says "Sport"?

nooo the second picture shows the settings after i'd played with them in 'hand control'

It's a bit weird as i lowered it to the height i would want when i change my front struts, then raised the axle instead of each side... both raised equally until it got to a certain point, then the left hand side overtook the right... possible solonoid issue maybe?

Either way the compressor so far seems to be doing a good job... stripped it the other week and cleaned what i could.

How would you then lower the rear? Putting in "-20" in the hand controls?

no you can only input in the 'calibration menu' - yet when i change these values, nothing happens which is why i had to use the hand controls - literally moving one side up until i measured that its level then checking in calibration to make sure it is....

Further trouble now though - my car won't lift by itself, i can only get it lifting on INPA.

The compressor works fine - im now thinking shall i change the solonoids (£160) or buy a whole new comp with solonoids (400) - then see what im left with.

Sick of spending money on this thing now

Update : I had the back wheels off today to have a peek at the electical connections to the level sensors and to check for any damage - nothing at all. Upon lowering the car, it raised to the correct level straight away, the comp made a slightly louder noise to do it, but so far no warnings on the dash..... my thinking is that if the left hand side lifts ok (furthest from the comp) and the right hand side stops at a certain height and doesn't drop overnight, then it has to be the solonoids that are at fault?

Oh heres a few pics, i had a look at the comp filter to see if it was blocked, it wasn't and it isnt really serviceable tbf... blew throught it with no probs at all though so reinstalled. I'd say its a waste of time anyone else checking theirs, its mounted quite well out of the reach of most dirt

mate, your car looks amazing!!

I got the links for the program from here http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...64bit-t103023/

Then used these instructions to get it working http://www.bmwforums.info/ecu-diagno...ace-winxp.html
