Is it just mine or does anyone else find that the tailgate shocks don't seem to want to lift the tailgate when it's cold (<3'c), I find they lift about halfway then you have to push the rest of the way.

I had no problems and my ride and last winter I tested it in -25c. Sorry, but I think there is some kind of problem with the height sensors on your car.

Sorry Robert, I'm referring to the shocks that lift the boot / trunk-lid to gain access to the load area, not the self - levelling system.

thanks,

Julian

If you have a scraping noise when you lift the lid, it can be the covers for the hinges that are old and not modified type. Last spring a new version that are a little rounded on one side was release.

The old one was all square on the sides and touched by the inside of the lid and after some time the paint was scrabbed off becouse the cover moved up and down all the time. The scrap noice came after the lid was lifted about 2/3.
