And so, the end is near,
My old car face, the final curtain...

Well, not completely but..it's time to say goodbye to my old and hello to my new (old looking though).
After a lot of annoying issues with "this and that" it was decided that they will take my car back and give me a new one

I'll be getting exactly the same car with a few extras and changes (wise from experience).
I'm going with black dakota (from natural brown) and brushed aluminium trim (from black plastic) sport steering wheel (from std) and Logic7 (from HiFi).

Picking it up this afternoon!!

Good luck with your new car!

And the obvious question - how much did they give as discount for going for a new one...?

Excellent! your gonna love the sport steering wheel....It will match nicely with your brushed aluminium trim. Why did you take the 523i instead of the 520d?? Just curious.

I had to take the same engine due to financing rules... A diesel would have been nice but on the other hand, I don't drive that many km each year do justify the higher car tax..

Higher car tax? Over here, diesels pay 1/2 the tax that their gas equivalents pay.

Thanks!!
I got no particular discount...nothing different from what I got when I bought the old one.
All I can say is that we came to a financial agreement that I was happy with. I must say that my dealer handled this matter very good!
I can also say that I just love the interior with all black and matte aluminium..and the Logic7 - amazing!

Scandic24 meant higher road tax; on my 530i I pay some 220 Euros a year. If I went for a 530d I would have to pay 720 Euros a year...

Yes, of course. Road tax is the proper translation..
Thanks Narvselius!
