Default E60 OEM Amp Install

Hi All,

First post here and hoping to contribute to the forum with any little things that I've come across already.

I have the 6 speaker basic sound system with the underseat woofers basically operate as speakers seen as they are fed from the door mids. Might as well listen to an iPad on the dash......would be about the same sound quality

I would like to stay as OEM as possible. I currently have no amp in the left side of the boot. What is the best way to improve the sound quality on a budget. I can pick up the Hifi (S676) amp on eBay for around £30. Is it possible to retrofit this with some cabling and plugs/connecters from BMW?

I have read so much conflicting information regarding the basic system. Some say the professional head unit CCC with the nav has a better amp built in than the MASK unit, I've read somewhere that it's only 15W RMS hence why it's so poor.

I've purchased a set of Logic 7 tweeters to add to the front doors which will hopefully help but my main focus is ensuring the underseat 6" subs are operating as such and not just another set of speakers as they are now.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks in advance
