My car has the same color on the trims as on the pillars, but it's a very new car,production line was dec.09, same for the lower part of the mirrors.

I have chrome trims around the windows and matte black pillars. Now I'm going to paint the window trims black as it seems almost impossible to purchase OEM shadowline trims for the E61.. Just wondering which would look better, having pillars and trims completely different colors (matte black pillars and gloss black trims..) or having both matte, but different shades..

One option would of course be painting the all, so there would not be different shades.. Does anybody know how the pillar trims are removed??

About the trims. They are matte black. I prefered them this way. I used solid black with a matte clearcoat. This way they match the pillars perfectly.

@Racere60: Check PM.

About those wheels (since I get quite some PM's about them): Dave 530 and I have them from the same small dealer in Belgium. They are very hard to come by however. At the moment no sets are available until september/october and a few sets are allready reserved...

About the wheels. I have just received mine after a 3 month wait. (sorry about the dirty car).

I found them from someone else, as your supplier did not get back to me at all.

That's strange. I did send him an e-mail and told him you probably were gonna contact him. He didn't know yet if he was willing to send the wheels to a foreign country but he would think about it. He did say that he would answer you however no matter what. I guess he decided not to do it...

But the most important is that you found the wheels. Congrationlations and good luck with them. They look nice on your ride.

Hi, where you purchase the Style 128 Rims? How much does it cost?

What is the offset of the rims?

If the following correct:-
1. Front wheel 8.5 x 19?
2. Rear wheel 9.5 x 19?
3. Can the rims be used for 7s E38?

I have since sold the car so I dont remember the info, but I think it was 9x19 and 10x19.
