I have m sport 535d and the passenger seat usually squeezes in on both sides to provide a snug fit when you turn on the ignition and does the reverse when you turn off the ignition. Its stopped working and is now stuck in the "snug fit" position. Anyone have any ideas on any easy fix solutions?

many thanks

With CA some settings are stored with the specific key fob - maybe that's the issue. If so, reprogram or try another fey fob to see if that's it.

Thanks tried that but no luck. I cant hear the motor that adjusts the seat anymore not surprisingly but it also did not generate any fault messages.

Get the error codes read at the dealer or at some individual. Then you'll know more.

Jay, I can't understand from your post - does the function still work manually or not?

I think he meant that can you still move the seat when pushing the buttons or is it only the memory function that doesn't work anymore?
