Had my car serviced at an Indy shop which had a high tech diagnostic tool. When the service was complete, there was 1 item with 3 sub errors that could not be cleared. Errors 9444, 9455 and 9640. The description simply said to contact bmw! The car itself doesn't indicate any errors on the display.
To my knowledge there is nothing wrong with the roof. It is waterproof and tilts and slides perfectly. There's a bit much windnoise for my taste and when the movable headliner is retracted, there's also a bit of rattling especially when driving on dirt roads but on balance the roof is in good shape. Any idea what these codes might mean and whether I should bother to do anything about it?

As far as the wind noise, there's a new seal that they've come up with, check the forum for the last month's posts. I posted up the tech bulletin for it.
