M5 Interior Swap - Possible - Rear seats?
I am thinking about doing a M5 interior swap. Right now i have a Natural Brown interior. While nice and i do like the color I was thinking about Red. I know the seats, door cards, center console ect will fit. What i am not 100 sure on is the rear seats. I have been getting mixed reviews from some people, real oem has different part numbers as well but looking at some pictures as they look as though they might fit.
Does anybody have a bit more knowledge on this?
Not my car but same seats. -

That's what I was thinking also. I have a auto to MT transmission swap, upgraded turbo and suspension planned this week. I will be planning the schedule the visit for show and to show it off. Will keep you posted.

If you are referring to E60 M5 rear seats, no they will not fit. I think the rear bottom cushion is the same but the seat back and side bolsters are different, same with rear seat belts, bespoke for the E61.
Funny you say red, cinnamon interior would be killer in the E61 (especially Alpine White), I thought about it but it simply isn't an option as it needs to be from an E61.
Good luck on the hunt.

I looked up the seats on Realoem and the rears are completely different, backs, base, bolsters, seat belts, all different. Fronts are a direct swap, seat backs and lower trim are all the same so you could possibly order M5 cushions + covers and install them on your current oem comfort seats.
This however will not help you with the rear seats as you need E61 specific stuff and if you heart is set on cinnamon then shelling out big money and buying it brand new is the most realistic way or getting that. There is a chance you would find someone parting out an E61 M5 elsewhere in the world and have it shipped internationally but that is a long shot, might be even smarter to check registries and see if an E61 with cinnamon was ever built before you start looking for the magestic unicorn.
