It does not help if You order Your car. I have, in my past, worked in harbour and those guys (not me of course ) really punish cars!! But hey! If it can not take that it goes broken and that's why there is waranty.

just a quickie, i called to check official procedures....

1st they shouldnt give cars to other people .. duh
2nd cars ordered but not paid in full, belong to the dealer so they can be driven even if they are specifically ordered by a consumer

3rd bmw service can do up to 50test km on any customers car, if they believe it is necessary... they will advice...

4th when i leave my car i always let them drive it (not the 7series, but the m3 and old m5s i did) and show it to people, i dont really mind

and sometimes shit does happen i admit, they blew the intercooler on my s500 but that was a benz so different service

Agreed

2nd cars ordered but not paid in full, belong to the dealer so they can be driven even if they are specifically ordered by a consumer

Right, but they wouldn't let anyone drive the one I ordered or they would be selling it to someone else.

3rd bmw service can do up to 50test km on any customers car, if they believe it is necessary... they will advice...

Right--no problem for service purposes provided BMW authorized employee does the driving.

4th when i leave my car i always let them drive it (not the 7series, but the m3 and old m5s i did) and show it to people, i dont really mind
