Yea it is so i can replace the backplate and make a hole in the other and add the side plates like you did.

Actually I didn't cut the hole on the other side and move the element, but added separate pieces on sides to create the shape instead.

I believe its not many E60 M5's in Finland right?

Yup, there isn't too many M5s in Finland. I don't have any idea how many there actually are. My pure guess is around 100 cars .

Continued the "modding" by tinkering the detachable plug for the heating pad. Here is everything one needs to do a little job like this :tonquesmilie:.
Oh! Please note the new pad heater. I ended up ordering a similar model from Wolverine, because it has a CE certification. I'm sure the Titan would work as good, but I wanted to make it right.
