JL subwoofer project for my E60 LCI with Logic7
I cant have a car without messing with the stereo!
So here we go...
My "blueprint"

3/4 MDF

Countersink holes and drywall screws

Angle fits perfect with the rear seat wall

11" hole for the 12w6

Sealed with a low odor Acrylic silicone

Sanded off the rough edges

Carpeting

Barely visible cuts

Wiring in a BMW is stupid easy

Harness from Technic on the forum, brilliant

Installed the amp underneath the shelf

Thats all I had time for now, more photos coming!!

Could be true, i notice that i have to take down the 40 seat to really hear it, the trunk is very sealed so that takes away quite a lot of the bass! Maybe ill build a ported box later on and try.

For the Amp, Do you need to have the 2.2 farad capacitor or not ? I have same set up like you but still waiting for Technic for the harness cable. The cables are currently back order few weeks
