Which KWs do you have? Have you looked through the manual and see how to properly install the coilovers?

Bro, all they gotta do is take the strut out, take it apart, replace whatever was missing and reinstall it. Not a big deal, about an hours work when I did it in my garage at home. Make sure they replace anything that was broken or damaged too, for example, if the washer (part 9) was missing and damaged the retainer (part 8) have them replace the retainer and put a washer on an you'll have no worries.

Sounds like improper install, when you put together the shocks for the install there should be a metal washer below AND above the rubber bushing at the top of the shock (at least KSports have these). If the upper one isn't there then there is nothing to keep the bushing from sliding right over the nut at the top and this is what happens. ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

The dealer told us that parts 8 & 9 dont make a huge difference when installing a suspension, they rub it off as unimportant...

Also, parts 8 & 9 are replaced IN THE coilover not on the support cup?( Please excuse my ignorance)
