Rear swing out when going over bumps.
Hi,
I have a weird problem and I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced anything similar. I have a 08 528i on which I have installed Eibach Sport Springs and Bilstein sport shocks along with 19" wheels. For some reason it seems like the rear of the car swings out (almost like it wants to Fishtail) when I go over a bump. Has anyone ever had anything like this with their car and if so what did you do to correct it? Thanks.

That is not good bro! Does this only happen when going over bumps or even also during turns and or straight driving/braking? Is there some unusual noise coming from the rear of the car?
I have the exact same setup but, with no problems at all. For now I'd rule the suspension out of the question unless there's some kind of wierd noises.
Check to see if they torque the lug bolts to spec on the rear wheels or all the wheels as a matter of fact. With loose lugbolts you may feel as if the car will drift left to right
Torque spec: 88.5 ft lbs. or 120 Nm per manual.
Good luck

Did you get an alignment done after the suspension work was performed? If the car is not tracking straight then you may see issues like this.

This is usually a classic symptom of one of your rear control bushings going bad. Check all your bushings & balljoints for any tearing or movement. If either is bad enough, you should be able to detect movement with the rear end in the air and you trying to move the wheel side to side.
