Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, IL

I was their first, so cost and difficulty should be better.

$450 including part and labor.

Perillo BMW in downtown Chicago is now versed in installing the AUX perfectly. I was there first ever last week. 1.5 labor and 70 for the part. Excellent sound.

Ask for Aaron in parts dept to order the parts and coordinate the service install.

Gephardt in Boulder, CO did mine the other day. They quoted $150 parts and labor. Worked right the first time. Sounds much better than the FM modulator. I did have to educate them on the install document from Iceman though.

I sent a nasty email to United BMW Roswell, GA......telling them how annoyed i was with them, all i wanted was an aux input and ...... I also told them i was going to report them to BMWNA for their lack of professionalism and that their after sales service is appauling.

I got a response the next day from the Service Manager letting me know that they were sorry and he had a word with my service advisor and the aux input was possible.
I have an appointment this saturday it should take just one hour and cost a little over $100

So For folks who live in the Atlanta Area and would like to get the Aux input installed contact Bryan at United BMW Roswell.
Will keep you guys posted.......... :

I finally got an MP3 player and had BMW Peabody (MA) do the install. Works fine (just be sure that the cable is plugged all the way in). Around $200.

Stevens Creek BMW in Santa Clara, CA. They were expensive (embarrassed to say how much I paid) but did it perfectly.

I bought the part and they charged me 1 hour labor at Stevens Creek BMW. Total is about $200+.
