diFeo BMW in Tenafly, NJ. showed the service rep the printouts and it was done in two days, no problems. updated software, put in the connector, charged me only $280 for the part and basic service, not for the software update.
what's wrong with these people? sometimes it's so easy... BMWNA needs to get its act together.

It's an auxillary input what allows you to connect other audio sources to your sound system. It is just a sound input and can'rt give you control on the external audio device you connect.
