Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of lowering spring should i buy for my 550. I want an aggressive look. I Don't want to mess up the ride. IS Eibach prokit low enough or should i go with the sports. How about the H&R?

I've been told if you already have sports suspension just the h&r or eibach springs will only lower it .5-.6 inches( anyone correct me if Im wrong on this one.) I have a 04 545i w/sp so I dont know what the difference would be but I would think they'd be close. Thee are plenty of 550 pics that are lowered and tell what type of suspension they used as well as tire size. I would suggest looking at wich one looks the best and then maybe shootin the owner a pm. Good luck!

i think the eibach is about .5 inches lower than the sport package. and from what I've heard its the best looking (more level vs the raked look) and a better ride. Good luck with your decision.

I have eibach pros and love them. BUT i didnt have sports package so it made the drop look more dramatic.

I believe the sport package on the xi is not any lower then a non sport i, xi's set higher then the regular i's.

eibach pro-kit gives a 1.2" drop all around from non-sport model, and H&R sport would be a 1.3" drop in front and 1.2" drop in rear. I have the eibachs personally and love them, especially when I went with aftermarket Bilstein shocks. since you said you dont want to mess up the ride, eibachs give a stock-feel ride in terms of comfort. H&Rs are a little bit more aggressive. let me know if I can help with anything

Eibach would be your best bet. They are not as aggressive as the H&R springs so they would be the closest to stock. Let us know if you need a quote.
