Successfully retrofitted to Bi-Xenon Headlights

Because i want xenon too, but i let them install by my garage, but i dont know if he is able to install it.
I have now halogens

It was not a plug and play job thats for sure, I ran into several issues. The major problem is the strobing effect caused by the LCM which in a halogen setup its designed to pulse the required voltage thus causing the strobing effect with xenon's. I fixed the LCM issue by using caps to stream out a steady voltage to the headlights. The other major issue I had was the wiring harness, it has to be modified to work with a xenon headlights. The headlights themselves have to be modified aswell. I can be more detailed if needed..let me know

I am not sure, I retrofitted non-adaptive xenon headlights to my car. I had no adaptive feature and disabled the adaptive motor internally just in case it caused problems.

Sorry for reopening this thread but I'm about to undertake the Xenon swap as well and was wondering whether there's a write up by someone?

I think this is the only documented thread on this forum regarding a successful bi-xenon swap, but if you need headlights... I have my stock bi-xenon adaptive headlights up for sale!

Could you write it down for me? and please write it slowly :-) I have H7 halogen lights... have 35W D2r xenon "kit" that I am able to work until stating the car up... than strobo effect and game over... so.. you used same 35w xenon kit + capacitor (which one?) for "+ yellow wire" only? or for both (- brown wire also)? have you just "ground it" to body? have you used any resitor (which one?) to simulate 55w of original H7 bulb drain? thx for your time answering my silly Q?s :-)

Put a 4700uF 35v capacitor to the fat yellow (xenon feed) and brown wire (xenon earth), make sure you connect the capacitor right way around (+/-). This will cure the strobing and warning light. If you do not have xenon earth just earth to the chasis.

No, the extra load from the capacitor is enough to fool the warning system. I have used this to retrofit oem xenons to my car, plug and play

so I have done "H7-xenon d2r oem" swap last week (with use of 4700uF 35V capacitor to get rid of BC massage :-) ), no problems at all, works just perfect... thx a lot, man, U saved me a lot of money and time...
