I just started with the swap also. I bought some bi xenon headlights on ebay and plan on swapping my halogens out of my 2006 525i. just wondering if it would be easier to put an hid kit or purchase the oem ballast and ignitor and bulb through ebay. I noticed that the ballast plugs into the socket underneath the headlight and through the housing connects to the ingitor. Just not sure if the wiring for the halogens will be compatible or will have to be modified. .
