What I do notice tho, and if you guys care to discuss this, if you put the car on Sports mode (DS) do you guys feel like the car shifts abruptly somtimes?
Welcome back buddy. I actually haven't driven the car in DS since installing the SB. I always drive in manual. I need to try this. I'll let you know.

Hope the MB is treating you well. You and VT are brothers.

I bought a automatic SB for my manual transmission 530i and lately my throttle has not been as sensitive as when i first put it on. It feels like it was before I even had it. Is this weird or is it a problem, because I'm wondering if something is faulty about the device or my car adjusted to SB, or is it just because I'm running BD4001A on my manual transmission car. Any feedback or questions to help resolve this issue is greatly appreciated. thnxx
Try disconnecting it and drive around for a bit to see if you see any difference and then plug it back in. You might have just gotten used to it.

T - You and V should meet Jo and I in Vegas. Pack your bags, throw VT in one of them, and meet us out there.

I was damn skeptical about this thing and thought it would only provide a liiitle bit of improved throttle response so I pulled out on the GB and I regret doing so....I'm going to purchase now but is the benefit the same on a manual tranny? Also, I'm noticing some are getting the auto SB for their manual tranny's. Which should I get?

Thanks John! I'm on it man ...I'm probably getting the AFE intake done next week so this SB + AFE combo should be awesome ....I hope it cheers me up after I curbed my iForged wheel and on the same day some old man runs a shopping cart into my car! Getting my car back next week so the timing may be perfect.

I ordered it tuesday or monday. I forgot, but I got it this morning before I left for work (delivered at 7am NYC time).

Too bad my car is in the shop for paint and rear m5 bumper at the moment. Will let everyone know once installed, probably next week.
