I bought a automatic SB for my manual transmission 530i and lately my throttle has not been as sensitive as when i first put it on. It feels like it was before I even had it. Is this weird or is it a problem, because I'm wondering if something is faulty about the device or my car adjusted to SB, or is it just because I'm running BD4001A on my manual transmission car. Any feedback or questions to help resolve this issue is greatly appreciated. thnxx
i have it on my manual 525i for almost a year and i still feel it's more responsive than before. you will notice it especially in 1st gear if you don't release your clutch quick, since it revs up really quick and jerks quite bad. i do run the auto version on my car too. from what i heard, the manual version will make the car even more sensitive, and make it very very hard to drive smoothly.

btw, my gas consumption actually improves, not by much but noticeable (~1mpg or so). like the other have said, unplug it and see if you notice a difference, i think you might have gotten used to it

This is where I got the Sprint Booster.

Thanks to Eurocarfan for setting this Group Buy up and getting us such a discount. As an FYI, I ordered the SB on Friday afternoon. It shipped on Saturday (2 days ago). I got it this morning, here in NYC, at 10:30am. So either they work on Sunday or they flew this thing over in an F-14, because it came from Hong Kong! Talk about fast delivery. This is a great deal!
Quick (and probably lame) question for you SB owners...will the SB fit all BMW's - including the 2008 535I tt? Mine is being built and that group buy looks too good to pass up. T.I.A.

I read most of the SB (lengthy thread) and didn't see a reference to application by year.....

I've only seen options for manual or auto, not make/model. You may want to email the seller directly to confirm (sale@partsexporter.com) or go to their main site and see if there's any info: http://www.sprintbooster.gr/en/

When is your car coming? You might be the first to try the SB on a 535 and you can give other members feedback.

Still have another six - eight weeks to go ...gonna get worse before it gets better for sure. I'll post up once it arrives and I install. May be a while though as I want to get a few miles on her and develop a feel for the baseline performance level...before installing mods.

If sombody could figure out how to intigrate SB into the Sport button on my LCI 535i (a la the New M3), now that would be a great mod....

You know that has to be doable! Seems one could just wire in a switch to one of the SB leads that would create an "open" and disable the SB...then when you want the SB engaged ala "Sport" mode - just press the switch. Seems you could run the switch wires under the carpet up behind the center stack and put your new "sport" mode switch whereever you wanted. Wonder if switching the SB on/off would cause any of the related systems to throw a fault light/code?

I like how your mind works 'HotLap', I think we are on to something here....... I wonder if Bruce M. ( LCI tail light retrofit ) would take on this challenge.
This is what gave me the idea ....at 2:10 into the video when Tiff hits the 'power button' he says, "....it dosen't really give you more power, it simply SHARPENS the throttle responce...so your sitting there at 1/2 a throttle and you press the power button and it just accelerates, because the throttle movement is now more sensitive....." That's a switchable SB

So it looks like we've had 4 orders so far:

Kuchar
C's Bimmer
Rodybmw
KU530

Any others?
Count me in! Andy had two left on his eBay listing and I just ordered one tonight. My last two mods were supposed to be the CDV replacement and RogueEngineering SSK, but after reading all the posts about the SB, I just couldn't resist. I can't wait!
