You need to check a wiring diagram to make sure that the semi-electric seats that are standard in the Europe have the same basic wiring structure as the fully electric sports seats. You will most likely need a seat control module for each seat. You should ask the seller if the modules are included in the seats. When I converted my electric seats to the M5 comfort seats the modules were included. I still had to add a couple of wires to connect the seats the the CANBUS system.

I too have the European semi electric seats and I want to change to fully electric comfort seat.
Found a couple on ebay but the shipping to my place is killing me. Is there anyway to buy just the rail + motor + button and made mine fully electric?

I just changed out my 545 sport seats for new M5 seats, and I couldn't be happier. My old seats were just worn out and uncomfortable. The only issue I have is the passenger restraint system error, but I will get it figured out.

Absolutely the best mod, just for the side bolsters . Mine came with an extra small yellow plug, which I believe is for sport mode,I can't confirm it yet.

It is done.
I bought half leather, semi electric, heated sport seats and replaced my semi electric, heated classic cloth seats. I checked parts numbers of components under every seat and they were all the same so I took out modules from my old seats and insalled them into the new ones and everything works. Unfortunatelly, occupancy sensor was broken so I made resistor and glued belt sensor in closed position and now the only think I need is to delete fail from computer. Firstly I would have liked to replace the seat sensor but I was affraid of breaking heating when reasembling upholstery so I did it like that.

Figured out my passenger seat error. I swapped the passenger seat belt tensioner from my old seat to the new seat with the battery disconnected. I then cleared all errors with the BMW software on my laptop. No no error messages or lights on the dash! On to the next project.
