Has anyone sat in both and have a preference? I like the sport side bolsters, but I don't know what else the comfort seats offer (maybe the folding headrest?). Opinions?

I test drove standard seats and sports seats and also liked the bolster on the sport, but worry about long drives with it. Anyone with sport seats have feedback on long drives and how it feels on the sides?

You can do a lot more adjustments with the comfort seats. For example the back support is split in two different parts that can be adjusted after your needs. Even the left and right sides of the back support can be changed. You can also choose more extras to the comfort seats. The sport seats are like the standard seat but with a lot more sportier design plus you can change the length of bottom part of the seat (also in the comfort seats). The only disadvantage with the comfort seats is the price...

thanks for the replies and esp the pics! Does anyone know what the pricing would be for the comfort seats if you are upgrading from the sport seats? Is it still a $1200 upgrade or is it considered a N/C based on the fact that the Sport pkg upgrades the normal seats to sport seats?

At least on the European markets you can choose the sport seats with cloth/leather. This is not available on the comfort seats, on them it is just leather. Apropos of cloth/leather, is it anyone who has photos of this type of cloth? (Need to see before specifying) PLEASE!

What extras are that? I have not seen any information on that?

In addition to Thomas information: The comfort seats also have three memories for seat positions (driver and passenger) instead of 2 on the normal electrically adjusted seat, a built in active "whip-lash" protection and more advanced/adjustable headrests. Due to the ability to adjust the width of the seatback, the Comfort seats can be almost as supportive as the sportseats if desired and immediately after that adjusted to be optimal for long distance cruising. The best of two worlds i guess, but as always with BMW - it comes at a price

On the Swedish market the following extras can be chosen together with the comfort seats:

* Leather ?Nasca?
* Leather ?Exclusive?
* Active seats ventilation
* Active seats

I hope the translation is correct but the codes are; U6, LD, 453 and 456.
