Hi all,

Pleased to announce that I have decided on what i will own this time next year (after i pay off the X5 3.0)....I had thought that I would wait for the M5 but after reading about it & seeing the concept pics from geneva I have decided that it is Too Much Car! I live in New Delhi, India and although we have a fantastic BMW service center the roads suck & fuel quality is extremely poor. Plus, I think the M5 is fantastic but too 'gaudy' with all those extra bits & pieces.

Anyway, I would like your opinion/feedback/help on the following:

2005 Saphire black 545 w/ SMG, black sports seats (no sprts pack:bad roads)

Mods wish list:
BBS CH 19"
Brembo brakes
M5 OEM Front Spoiler
M5 OEM Steering wheel
remus exhausts
possibly, individial interior

My question (s):

- can BMW install the M5 spoiler & steering wheel before shipping the car to me? (of course i will order only when (a) M5 is in production, ( 545 has completed year 1 of production.

- does anybody know of 1 place where i can get the remus exhaust, BBS Ch 19's & the brembo brakes? price ideas for each of the above?

- what is your opinion of the 545 with this set-up? pimpish or sporty?

- finally, can anyone with good photoshop skills make a 545 with M5 front spoiler & BBS Chs?

If the roads are as bad as you say, are you sure 19" wheels would be suitable?

sorry...yes the roads are bad generally but not that bad in my circle of travel i.e. home, office, friends homes, club etc. Already have 19"s on my X5 but it is a jarring ride because of the sports package & not the wheels per se.

Also, I think that the stock wheels on the 545 are very thin for the size of the car & have a large gap. Plus the BBS Ch wheels are the prettiest (IMO).
