Don't waste your money fellas.
Dude, why would make this post? With all due respect, you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. RPi is a reputable vendor that has a proven track record of substantial HP gains on everything they sell. For you to come here and make reckless accusations against RPi of trying to scam forum members is purely malicious behavior.

I plan on getting the powerchip RPI tune before I pick up my car this week. I already did a base dyno, once the ecu is reprogrammed I'll be more than willing to post dynos. More importantly Im down to meet up with any naysayers to prove them wrong

Who cares? If you read my post I said NA engines, not FI engines. Obviously tuning FI engines can create 100's of hp . BMW NA engines however leave nothing to be had other than 5 hp at the most. RPI is puttin their name on something and advertising gains when they have not tested it. Why have they not tested it with the number of cars they have come into their shop? You are telling me that the powerchip company would not give RPI one of these tunes to try on a car before advertising the numbers.

That is the same problem that vendors had when selling AFE products. THis is no different. I think if someone advertises a product associated with their name then they should be as confident in that product as if they were making it themselves. Vegastrashed has a 545, and you have posted about sooo many dynoes you guys do-why not test the software on even just ONE Of these cars?

ANd I would love to see the numbers from a scoop and exhaust v. scoop exhaust and software. You are does NOT need additional software to learn how to use minimal increases in air flow and O2. What do you think when there is a drop in temperature by 50 degrees. That is increasing O2 substantially and our cars "adapt" to that just fine and we all notice an increase in power in the cold weather due to this fact. More fuel is shot into the cylinder when cold temps are there because more O2 is measured by the sensors. Absolutely NO difference then adding a scoop and bringing in a bit more O2.

Find it funny such a big company cannot test even one of these programs but will sell them-Also I highly doubt a 545 with an exhaust and that software will stomp a regular 545. Considering for one I have wheels that are 50 pounds lighter than stock-with that alone it would be more of a factor than the exhaust and software. Just simply saying no car with that tune and exhaust is going to stomp anyone buddy.

Stick to your MB.
