Rear Inner fender trimming question... What should I do?

What fender rolling does is sort of fold the lip up and in more. The fender does not stick out more. I guess the plastic inner liner where it meets the lip would be trimmed so that the metal lip would fold up better.

What you're rubbing on is more often the lip of the fender itself.

Or, you can do the homemade metal pipe technique like this guy did. It will definately roll your fenders though:

Yea when i jacked it up thats exactly what it looks like... Have you rolled fenders yourself? Ive seen a couple videos using that tool but i'd rather have someone thats done it before do the work its a risk i dont really wanna take myself. I'd rather pay then mess up and need body work.

you definitely want someone with experience to roll your fender. you need to heat it up and take your time. it can bow out slightly if they don't know what they're doing.

I had my fenders rolled and shaved. In addition, lining was cut out as well to stop rubbing. Not noticeable at all to the naked eye.
