rpav needs to get the RDSport remap done for the ECU to fix the CEL.
I'm curious to know if my remapper could reset the light too or it is a special remap by RD

I'm scared I will keep the light

I think any custom remap that can adjust the air/fuel mixture will take care of the CEL. The only reason the CEL is on is because more air is being fed into the the manifold.

Hi Everyone!

What are your thoughts on RDSport R54 Motor Conversion. Anyone considering this modification?

"True to its tradition, once again RDSport discounts the easier forced-induction route and pushes the envelope of its normally aspirated V8 motors to a new level.

The R54 uses much of the same technology found in the latest F1 motors: billet crankshaft, billet rods, and a set of forget pistons that are amongst the lightest to ever find their way into a production-based motor.

The ported cylinder heads boast 22% more efficiency than the stock ones, and this is mainly obtained through the use of larger valves and modified cam profiles.

The motor internals are complemented by a full race-bred exhaust, entirely hand-made out of 304 stainless steel. It features equal length primaries, metal matrix catalytic converters, an X-Flow downpipe, and 2 hyper-efficient rear silencers with quad pipes.

The results are impressive: 489 HP SAE @ 6500 RPM, but more important, an astounding 408 lbs-ft of torque at only 3800 RPM. The performance of the R54 Sedan is exhilarating: 0-62 mph in a mere 4.5 seconds, and a top speed of 200 mph."
