I actually had that as stock for my 1997 and 2002 Dodge Ram Turbodiesel. K&N did not filter as well for me.

You have to keep the K&N well oiled and clean. However, the foamy thing will keep a lot of the crap out of the paper element.

how did you ordered and how much? I have called my local PepBoys and Discount Autoparts and can't order it because is not in their systems..WTF

Any noticable difference? I used to keep K&N filters in my Mustang GT, and seem to remember them making a noticable difference. Just curious with the BMW's computer, etc. if they help.

Can't tell with the butt dyno. Intake sound is pretty much muted by the exhaust. I figure it can't hurt (I keep it clean).
