In my 330Ci there was definately a difference in the buttdyno.. The car used less fuel too. Only thing I didn't like was that I got more engine noise..

My Ride: Now Driving a Freakin' Prius!
Was...
2004 545i | SMG | White/Black | Sport | NAV | Logic 7 | PDC | Fold-down Seats | Adaptive Headlights | Cold Weather Pkg | Clear-again Bra | Mud Flaps | Bluetooth | Coat Hangar | Aux Input | All Weather Mats | 18"X8.5" BBS RK w/ Michelin Pilot Alpin's (winter) | New steering rack @ 1.2K & 17K miles| Software V.19.1 | B&B Exhaust (vrrrroooooommm!) <---Click.
I just installed a K&N replacement filter this weekend. They definitely make it for the e-60. In my other cars I would at least hear it a little. I can't in this case. Either it's a well insulated engine compartment or it could be the exhaust. Not noticeable with the butt-dyno.
Has anyone noticed that the stock filter has a foam piece attached to the paper element (first time that I've seen that).
