Default Passenger Restraint Malfunction Issues 93B4, 93CC

Bought the car (08 535xi Wagon) used, and the battery was draining (Probably was on its last legs). I got a Passenger Restraint Malfunction error and was kinda bummed about that.

so I bought a new battery, had it installed and registered, and had the error code cleared. Drove for a day or so, and the error came back.

Wound up buying BMWhat app (great app!) for my iPhone, and finally got around to trying the app out.

Got 2 fault codes:

BMW 93CC LIN Communication failure
BMW 93B4 2nd Stage driver's airbag /Timeout ID 08H

Reset the codes this morning, Passenger Restrain Malfunction error went away and drove around for like 30 minutes, and then it came back on.

This time, only 1 fault code:

BMW 93B4 2nd Stage driver's airbag /Timeout ID 08H

FWIW, found out that my Panorama Moonroof's rear drains were clogged, and there was standing water below the module foam. Wiped up the water, and cleaned the drain caps out (they were cruddy and clogged).

Anyone have any ideas? I've googled for a couple of hours and can't seem to get a straight answer on what to test next, other than asking a friend to borrow his driver side airbag and see if that clears the fault.
