Ok I bought a new creator c310 for my 2004 525i. I have the airbag light on along with a restraint malfunction error. I was going through it and I can't seem to find were to diagnose the srs. Anyone know were in the unit the srs is under? Thanks

 

can that unit even diagnose srs issues? you may need to get yourself a better code reader.

 

where you able to read/reset SRS unit on the E60?

 

I used Creator 310+ to diagnose and Clear an SRS fault (93FC) on my 2006 525i . It’s a cheap scanner but does a lot for $55. I hope your scanner is BMW specific. OK, scroll around until you see “Body” or Chassis”. That’s where it will give you the code(s) effecting an SRS problem. My problem was low voltage (not been driving much during COVID). Ran the car a little, then deleted the code. Hasn’t come back. Hope this helps.

 

You may have to do an update because I had a Creator 110+ and it does SRS. It's located in the SGM-SIM/SRS module.
