I've had a warning come on three times now since I've installed it that said "Left Daytime Running Headlamp" which instantly goes away after about 4 seconds to not return any time soon. If I was looking I'd not even notice it before it left.. I assume it's related. It doesn't show up anywhere but the top of the display screen for those few seconds and goes away.
By lock and unlock.. do you mean do the AEs come on/turn off? If so then yes. Unlocking turns them on as they're part of the welcome lights or whatever. If they're on from that and you then lock the car it will turn them off immediately.. same as OEM behavior.

Are you sure your error goes away, did you go into your idrive and check control messages ?
All warnings on BMW's go away in 3 to 4 seconds (then visible through the idrive), all errors stay both on the screen and on the idrive and in the memory elsewhere (example passenger restraint malfunction)

Met up with my new friend Crypto and its surely been a pleasure
Here is what we have for the FORUM members
To the LEFT we have the LUX V3 AND To the RIGHT we have the ORION V2
The answer is simple, if you want to keep your car under warranty and get the brightest available white angel eyes option LUX is the way to go
If you dont care about your warranty and have either a budget for 450 - 500 dollars (250 if you want to break you head over it) then ORION V2 is what you should be looking at
If all you care is to get the brightest available, uniformly illuminated angel eyes, then you MUST be looking at the ORION V2

Pretty sure there is nothing there. I can't find any sign of it after it goes away and there's no error/warning icon anywhere. Also, I've had my car in because of the bad fuel injector for warranty work where they had it connected to the mothership several times. They had no question/commentary regarding the light from any codes apparently.
I had those LUX H8 V3 installed too and getting the LEFT daytime drive warnings for a few seconds and then it goes away, the lights stays lit and nothing happens. Did you ever resolve the issue?
No it keeps doing it sporadically. Some days not at all. Some trips like 2-3 times in 5 miles. If it did it all the time I would be sending them back. It is a little disappointing but it's not at a level to bother me.
