Met up with my new friend Crypto and its surely been a pleasure
Here is what we have for the FORUM members
To the LEFT we have the LUX V3 AND To the RIGHT we have the ORION V2
The answer is simple, if you want to keep your car under warranty and get the brightest available white angel eyes option LUX is the way to go
If you dont care about your warranty and have either a budget for 450 - 500 dollars (250 if you want to break you head over it) then ORION V2 is what you should be looking at
If all you care is to get the brightest available, uniformly illuminated angel eyes, then you MUST be looking at the ORION V2

It was good meeting up.. indeed the Orion's are definitely a good deal brighter. The inner rings are closer to one another but there is no comparison with the outer rings. Two different solutions and obviously two different levels of effort. :-) If I could get the Orion V2 look just as easily I'd definitely go that route.

By lock and unlock.. do you mean do the AEs come on/turn off? If so then yes. Unlocking turns them on as they're part of the welcome lights or whatever. If they're on from that and you then lock the car it will turn them off immediately.. same as OEM behavior.
Just search Lux H8... but luxangeleyes.com.
I posted these same pics in a diff thread a bit ago for my matte black kidney grill pics.. but they show the Lux in sunlight as well. Here they are:
