I am debating if I should do the Orions or do the LUX angel eyes.

Thanks,
lux will not be as bright as orions...but lux will be a good improvement over the stock halogen bulbs in terms of color and brightness...

it's not really comparing apples to apples IMO....the biggest reason one would pick lux or orion is how hard you want to work to install the upgrade...lux is plug and play...orions require a lot more work to install...

***just noticed you have a 2006 and did not an LCI xenon headlight retrofit...lux ae's only work with lci xenon headlamps as they are an H8 bulb replacement kit....also noticed you already have orion's listed in your sig.....

Thanks Gene,
Yes, I own both Pre LCI and LCI cars and yes I do know that the ORIONS are a complicated to install and not something I want to do at the moment. I surely want the white angel eyes but debating what I should do.

Thanks anyways - Pictures please guys

Ahahaha, for a sec there I thought you were troll posting!

I am just gonna go out on a limb and say that you shouldn't hold your breath. For how much they cost and you knowing/having the Orions, there's just no comparison.

Finally got time to install this a bit ago. I had a bit of time yesterday but it was pouring rain, so not optimal for pics. Will try and get them uploaded within the next hour or so.

Ok finally with pictures.. I have a picture I took the other day in broad daylight as a before picture.. it was too dark to get an equivalent tonight so will see about that in the future. I really like the change thus far. It remains to be seen how this looks in direct sunlight but my first impression is that I love it. Looks a million times better than the yellow. Also, no error codes yet.. but it's not been very long.

Dude,
Thanks for the pictures man. The care looks awesome but in all honesty the pictures say that the OEM is brighter than the Lux bulbs, at least in the first picture and I guess in the 2nd too (lol)

Enjoy your mod, I like it but now makes me think. I am sure they look far more better in person

The last picture is SUPERB

when i installed mine, i took a quick look comparing the stock to the lux. i thought the lux looked brighter. it was close up though as i didn't have space to step back and look from far away. anyway so much better than the ugly yellow!

Herndon -- I actually pm'd you a while back about meeting up but I think you were going to the meet up in B-more. My schedule got real full and I forgot to get back to you since that first day didn't work. If you're around tomorrow morning or afternoon I am in town. Otherwise I'm taking a short trip to Boston and will be back a later in the week.
