Time to get some!

All excitement aside, I feel that one of the big challenge is going to be the wiring. With a total of 16 wires out of each side, I have to figure out the best way to hide them from view

Haha. Well, good news is that I shouldn't have trouble finishing one headlight today. And most likely, if I have to work late into the night to get both sides finished, it will be done.

Umm, actually, maybe not since I will have to use my plastic welder which is kind of loud and might wake up neighbors

LED sperm power, lol!

So this is not exactly as straight forward as I thought. For whatever reason, there was a section that I cut is not lighting up all the way across. Good thing my math took in account for errors. In any case, I have one side measured out, wired (half way, sorta), and tested.

Now I just have to decide how I want to mount them. These shipped with 3M double sided tape, but I really don't think they're going to hold over time. A part of me is pondering if I should just use a really permanent adhesive and call it a day, but the cautious part of me is wondering if there's something good I can use and still be able to reverse it -- if for whatever reason I want to...

Suggestions?

P.S. The black stuff is liquid tape, just in case

that 3m tape is crap any bump and your lights will look a hot mess not to mention the heat will probably cause it to loose adhesion quickly go with the silicone stuff, that's reversible

Here's a pic.

As I suspected, only up-close will the gaps between the LEDs be visible.

First pic is normal and the second is HDR. Still can't quite capture the gap between the LEDs though. They're that bright.

Ah sick simon! I'm wondering with so many bright led and so many rods will it it just seem like one bright led instead of seeing each rod of led beams?
