Mike asked me for pictures of how it looks without everything lit, so here's one pic. Can you spy 2 subtle differences (one of them is probably impossible to tell in this pic, but the other one should be noticeable) I've made inside the headlights?

Oops, double post.
But I will use this spot for some tidbits.
After putting this all together I have come to a few thoughts. First, with the lit fins, the entirety of the eyebrow seems unnecessary. May give the headlights a more aggressive look if the entire brow is tinted or vinyl'd out (black, CF, or whatever) and give the shape of the headlight to resemble the E63s.
Secondly, I am a bit surprised of this, but from my brief observation tonight, it seems that my 800 lumen white turn signal LEDs may not do the job. It's detectable, but definitely not as noticeable due to the fins so bright. I may have to change it out to amber LED. We'll see after I sit on this more and check tomorrow.
Now, I made a note of this on my Facebook page, but if somebody wants to have the fins act as turn signal, potentially I can make it sequential as well. Obviously that'll bump up the labor and parts cost, but hey, gotta pay to play

I knoooow right
Haha, I will up more pics later today onto FB. Got a few things to take care of this morning.
Thanks man, and most time consuming and laborious too! I am actually pretty surprised that out of all the wiring and soldering I had to do, only once did I solder the wrong color wires to a board.
Lol. You better not shag my car.
Lol. Due to the top of the brow? It does stand out quite a lot, heh. Next mod, getting those car-lashes
