Glad I held out and never wasted my $ on a SB.

Um I did not buy it recently, I got it like 2 years ago when I first had a 535I sedan. I had it and several other "parts" left over after the buyback.

Really cool, glad to see the v2 is making it into the cars already. Looking forward to the review

On a separate note, I'm looking at the Powerbox applications on modbargains' site and apparently there is no application for the 530i/530Xi N52 Really? Fits an E90 330Xi, but not the E60 530Xi with the same engine basically - what gives?

It works just fine in the N52 530's go to Burger Motorsports, the people that make them. It works on ALL N51,52,53 Motored cars ( 1,3,5 have all been tested ok)

Juice box is for turbo cars and give like 100 hp! I miss my turbo Jetta, power was so cheap and easy compared to a NA car!

juice box and power box are made by the same company: bms/burger tuning....as stated above, the juice box is for the n54/TT engine, the power box is for specific NA engines..

Installed (The only problem was that there was no where to hide the thing because the hole where the oem wire goes into was too small. So i hid it behind the pedal housing for now. Going to make a small slit in the carpet where the oem wire comes out and slide the housing in there) MAKE SURE YOU WAIT 5 MINUTES WITH THE DOOR OPEN BEFORE INSTALLING TO AVOID CHECK ENGINE LIGHT MESSAGE!!!!!!

Turned it on and was good to go!!! Honestly you can really notice the difference. 3 modes, off (no light), green (medium setting) red (aggressive). The difference between the green and the red setting is not super noticeable but from being off then on wow what a difference. She just gets up and goes!!! I guess the one downfall of this thing is that it does bring your mpg down considerably but who cares it feels great. Last night i went flying down Griffith Park Blvd mad late no cars around to test her out in DS WOW thats wild its a little overkill in DS mode pretty much just hits 6000 rpm as soon as u step on the gas. I love this thing.
Nice install on the adjustment wire--very clean. You probably can get the whole main connector under the pedal with just a little snip of the carpet. Mine is completely hidden under there. I just have the reg SB, so it may be bigger.

So if my google search was correct, the powerbox is not made for the 550i, or any V8 for that matter?

This bms power box, it already does the remaping for the gas pedal, running this and a sb would be a overkill?
