I'm thinking about purchase a SB too, but is there any warranty issue and can they tell that you have it on?

If I get it, I'll route the button into the panel where the PDC button is and the heated seats etc - would be the perfect place for it

Really cool, glad to see the v2 is making it into the cars already. Looking forward to the review

On a separate note, I'm looking at the Powerbox applications on modbargains' site and apparently there is no application for the 530i/530Xi N52 Really? Fits an E90 330Xi, but not the E60 530Xi with the same engine basically - what gives?

Hmmm I am also interested in getting the SB V2, the power box you mentioned also looks interesting any suggestion which route is better. Still deciding on which one to get, all look so tempting.

Ok you have a 525, you are still paying more money for less with th SB. Just not logical but hey it's your money.

For the price go with the SB V2. Hey if you like, buy my SB and I'll get the SB V2.

If the numbering worry you on the description page look under "Applications (European Models)" table on the right side you shall find 'E60/E61 530i' listed on the 3rd line.
Why listed like that ... 'cuz whoever put it up pretty much clueless its obvious that what matter is the engine type N52 ... if somebody put N52 in a Mazda Miata it'll work too. If you wanna think over it again on the left table they put 525i/525xi & 330xi on the right table listed 530i so 530i is not available in US market?

I will tonight! It's been pretty low key on this site so far, people are pretty hush most likely because they are probably sitting on Sprint Booster's they need to sell before the word gets out!

These have been really popular with the 3 series crowd. Lots of threads on e90post.

This has 3 level's of throttle remapping and you can turn the tune on or off which gives you 6 levels of performance to choose from.

And to the people saying its not much power, 10hp at the wheels is pretty significant. People pay 3 times more $ to get that many horses from an exhaust mod so I would say this is a pretty sweet deal. BTW 10 HP is the lowest dyno I have seen, there are some guys running a new tune out in Singapore getting over 25hp but thats with high octane gas!

Apparently the tune works well with intake and exhaust for even better gains. I'll be getting a K&N asap.

I'm planning on purchasing a SB to see what that hype is about.
I would try a sprint booster out first before buying it. I never liked the original one, felt too manic.

Surprised you don't care for your Powerbox, first negative review I have heard. But I see you have some other mods like custom quad exhaust so maybe you are already loosing power from that. I'll probably go RPI when I do exhaust since it has dyno proven gains.

Only 10hp gain on BMS PB? How much gain using SB? ... AFAIK none ... maybe somebody should try BMS PB + SB combine
