Damn!! 219 euros for the new dension gateway five! I just got my dension 500

iPod and USB playback with bluetooth handsfree in one device

Dension Gateway Five connects your iPod or USB
storage to your original car radio, providing music
playback, menu based control and charging.
The Gateway Five also offers Bluetooth connectivity
for music streaming (via A2DP) and handsfree mobile
call handling, via the radio or steering wheel controls
and displays your information in the cluster between
the dials.

Control

Gateway Five incorporates the new Hotkey
functionality, that allows the users to assign the CD
changer buttons to a desired folder, album, song or
menu position.
The Phone option provides access to the phone book
and the call logs (received, missed, dialled).

Compatibility

Gateway Five is currently available for VW vehicles
featuring the RCD 300 and 500 head units, fitted with
a text capable cluster. For full details see the car
compatibility matrix.

Further compatibilities coming soon until 2nd of May for:

-later VW (BAP)
-Peugeot (CAN)
-Citroen (CAN)
-Audi Dual Can

Opel and BMW will be released in the summer of 2010.

nice!!! looks like you can do A2DP with this module... cool no running a wire, only for charging. But is this the only thing you need for it to work or will you still need something else? cause its at 219 Euros which is much cheaper then the Dension 500

Unfortunately it does not. Check out the second page. Only Gateway 500 works.
