sorry about the thread jacking man. typically removing the resonator will deepen the sound, and straight pipe with no mufflers in terms of sound will just make it loud. yes you will lose in low-end torque but its been said you may gain in high end hp as a switchoff. most setups people have gone with is an aftermarket muffler, and if wanting more sound out of it to take out the resonator and replace it with piping. sent you a PM btw
Man I've been looking for a system for my '06 525xi for a month now, I may have to check this one out...... My local shop wanted to just install straight pipes after the resonator, which I wasn't crazy about trying. I just want something noticeably louder than stock but NOT outrageous, and deeper than stock with no interior drone.
