My new 530i sounds too tame...
#1
Hey guys, new here so please don't shoot me down regarding this question.
Just picked up my 530i from the dealership and the thing it sounds a bit too tame for my liking.
I've contacted a exhaust shop who's willing to do a quad setup; with straight pipes.
He's recommending AGAINST removing the mufflers or resonator as the sound will apparently be terrible; and alot of
power loss. So is what he's saying true as 've heard from a few people removing the muffler or resonator
can bring a few HP gains (maybe he's talking about a loss in torque).
What would you seasoned modders recommend, removing muffler/resonator or both? And how does it sound?
Cheers!

You'd definitely lose some torque.

Can one use this but get the 530 pipe at left and then just use the right pipe from the RPI GT Here....?
