Any sound clips?

 

I cut off the resonator before the muffler and the sound is much deeper / louder now. That was a very cheap way to make my Magnaflow sound louder fyi. Try it!

 

+1 the resonator serves as another muffler. removing it would result in a deeper and louder sound.

 

wait are resonators the same as cats, cause if you look in the picture the glasspacks are after the resonator I believe

 

is there a loss in power when removing the resonator??

 

I don't believe so, but I am looking to replace my resonators with an x-pipe.

 

Bringing this thread back from the dead here, In case you still have the car, the location where the cherry bombs are in the pics is where the resonator would have been. You have already deleted the resonator lol. I'd like to know what it sounds like because I'm debating a Cat back straight pipe, resonator removed. Currently I have Resonator back straight. Hopefully you guys are still around. 6 YEARS later
