you are correct that there was no claim in the caption that the Adaptive Brakelight System included LED's, but the caption in the picture right above it says that the regular (non-Adaptive) brake lights include LED's. [/quote]
rodybmw, I have always assumed, maybe incorrectly, that the LEDs in the back window were the LEDs referred to in normal braking.
