iPOD MOST Interace: How to go about getting a good deal
#1
So my father got a new (to us) 06 530xi CPO with Navi, no changer/no logic7. I am calling around BMW centers in my area (MA) and a getting $600-$700 for quotes. I know that Gary from Newport, RI BMW provides discount on parts and I've send him an email to get his quote (he's not around).
Are there perhaps any other ways (i.e. good non official mechanics, etc) about getting this thingy installed? I want to put it in for my father for his birthday.
I am DIY type guy but its a new car and I don't want to be doing any drilling. If the mechanic quotes 3 hours labor, then either they are lying a lot, or its not so easy to do. First time I tried to change breaks myself I've spent 6 hours.
Thanks!

Go check out www.circlebmw.com from NJ they have some really good price, is about $250.00 for the Ipod Interface. It is a do it your self and it is pretty easy, the dealer will send you the instruction on how to do it, the only thing you cant do is program it, so for that you are going to have to take it to the dealer, but it should not be more then 1 hour
good luck and let us know how it turn out......
