Hi All
One of my colleauges had sent his ecu for his 2003 530dse and on its return and after reinstalling it the car fails to start. He is unable to get hold of the dealer due to the UK Bank Holiday. I am in the IT field working for Wal*Mart in the UK for you guys over the pond (should I have said that) and can only think of a corrupt download to his ECU.
Any thoughts.....as I was considering doing mine.

Given the incidence, I would choose a different shop as this one seems they don't test the ecu after they done the programming. Its not a big deal to reprogram it but it is inconvenient to be without the car for so long. Ideally, I would prefer to drive there and wait till the car is done. Not via snail-mail.
