Anyone who bought the aftermarket LED taillights that were available a few months ago. Need to know if the resistors are a single unit or multiple resistors in one big heatsink. I remember someone mentioning that it was a much bigger heatsink (see picture)
My design needs 3 resistors and I can't avoid that. Just wondering if there was a neater part available where all 3 resistors are connected to a single heatsink. The resistor will get very hot and that is normal because they are behaving like bulbs. Any ideas?
Also is there any strobing of the turn light?

Hey bruce, I actually bought the aftermarket tailights and never had the problem with strobing blinkers till i got the LCI tailights. And as for the bigger heat sink that is attach to the back of the aftermarket tailights that can be an idea for the LCI tailights too. We'll keep me updated cause i would love to have the LCI look and willing to pay for whatever needs to be done and get the look of the Rod not so much of the brake lights  . Here are some of the pic i took earlier of the LCI tailights with the brakes applied

Okay bruce here are some photo's of the aftermarket tailights. The red Line has what looks like some kind of resistor of some sort and the Blue line looks like an heatsink. See if i can be any help with photo's or questions to your research let me know

Cwest are you able to send me a PM or post here the full wiring diagram of that part. Does anyone know the manufacturers of that light because I need those two parts i.e. red and blue line.

I think that the aftermarket LED taillights didn't have leds in turn signals.

This makes a lot of sense. The Red line is actually a capacitor set and its what is suppressing the strobing. The resistor pack is what is fooling the car for the bulb burn out warning.
