Question E60 headlamp assembly connector

I purchased Halogen replacement headlamps for my 2010 528i E-60 and they have the wrong connector...

Hella PN's: 1EF 008.673-111 & 1EF 008.673-121 Halogen

The vehicle has a 12 pin flat blade connectors (only 8 of the slots have pins) and the new headlamps have 8 pin round connectors (only 7 of the holes have pins)

If I am correct, the vehicle has LCI headlamp assembly connectors and the new, Hella headlamp assemblies have pre-LCI connectors...

Unfortunately, I don't have a clue what LCI stands for or what differences the wiring has...

Does anyone know if there is an "adaptor" plug that will solve the problem?

If so, would I need to run a wire that would connect to the tail lights?

LCI stands for Life Cycle Impulse, it's BMW's way of saying facelift because usually a few years after a model redesign they will do some sylistic tweaks. Since yours is a 2010 it is an LCI (I believe 2008 is when the E60 had its LCI debut). Everything on your car should be LCI.

Thanks for the info!
I guess I need to return the pre-LCI headlamps and try to find the correct ones...
