Alright, Due to the uproar of the AFE HAI is causing I tried to make myself an appointment with the ONLY AWD dyno setup in my town and see this loss for myself. I was told that it would be impossible to dyno my 2007 530xi due to the fact that it is automatic. I was told by a member that what the guy who told me this was incorrect. I was told by the member here that all need to do is start in 4th gear and punch it before it hits the kickdown. (till it almost redlines) Will this work for my car? I dont want to go back to him and argue with him on how to do his job.
It'll work. I had a 2007 530xi as well.

There was a member on here a few years ago (can't remember his handle), but he had a highly modified 2006 530xi and he had his car dyno'ed. Unfortunately, he sold the car last year and is no longer a BMw owner. He also doesn't visit this forum anymore.

Is it normal to check ur Pms every 5 sec . Anyway...Anyone know how I can get the dyno tester to belive me that running from fourth gear will work. I just know he will say NO NO, people on these forum arent dyno technicians or some BS. Like I said before i dont want to tell this guy how to do his job.

I bought it through a vendor. I want aFe to pay for this and make up for their false claims, not the vendor.
