Default Door trim removal

Hey guys,

I am getting ready to wrap some of my interior trims soon, but first i wanted to start and practice on a small piece that i cannot figure out how to take off.

The peice i am trying to take off is the one on the door that covers the switchboard for the power window buttons. Its the black piece that above the wood grain trim on the door.

Does anyone have any idea how to take those off? i cannot seem to find a tutorial.

Would it require me to take off the whole door cover like i would for the wood trim on the door? or is it possible to just pull it off without taking the door apart?

any help will be greatly appreciated. The piece in the red circle is what im trying to remove.

if you search deep in forum you will find , but i wil tell you, in my car wich is lci i have remove whole sealent door but is verry simple the doors has two screws 1 torx i guess 30 or 25(is located at the end of door is a cap where is airbag name) if i remember and a 1 screwdriver when you open the dor is a black cap, after that you will have to pull with carefull the sealent door and you start with glass area and continue easy rest of door, but don't remove plug of airbag unless you remove the - of baterry.

You are right, i managed to find a thread just now that was posted in 2004 lol

Thank you for the help though, i was just hoping i wouldnt have to take the door panel off, but better spend more time than break the trim itself or the clips

I did replaced my driver side switch panel and there are couple screw (if I remember correctly, maybe nut) one at the bottom and the other on the top that you can only reach probably by taking the panel off

Yep you have to do the same as for removing the wood trim (alu-cube trim), because one edge of that panel is UNDER the trim. So you have to take off the door panels, unfortunately.
