Hello all. I was thinking of swapping the leather door panels I have that are beige and going with the black ones for a two tone look. However, the diagram on REALOEM seems to indicate that the leather trim panel is not removable, rather it is built as one $1017~ door piece. Diagram here:

My question to anyone with experience with this, can It be done? I'm talking about the trim that is behind the wood door pull, part #10 points to the airbag thingy that the panel is on.

Thanks for any input.

I'm asking myself the same question.
Especially the leather part, where behind airbag is, and the armrest and the door pocket.

I'm only wondering, how to reattached the leder part of door panel??

Aa seen on back side of door panels (pic below), it is attached with some kind of plastic nuts/caps (part 25).

But since the armrest part could be sold separately, there got to be a way, to reattach the leather parts.

PM Member Anzafin. He did an extensively sweet interior mod in his car which involved changing the door panel interior colors as well. I'm sure he can help you out.

They look like the armrest on the 1 series, and according to BMW instructions, you need to drill out those plastic rivets to remove it.
Probably the same for the above.
