Hey guys,
I just retrofitted a ccc from an 07/07 e60 to my 08/03 build e60. I had the 6" idrive screen with m-ask. I fitted the CID, CCC, TCU and idrive controller. I had everything working fine. However my lvds had some play to it, and after hitting a pothole I had these weird red lines on the display. I took the ccc out and tried messing with the lvds cable, and whining noise started coming from the radio and the entire CID went blank. I thought the display went dead, I then ordered one on eBay. After plugging in the new CID screen I still don't get any type of display. I see the back-light on but no picture.

Any ideas what could be the problem? I was told by a friend that I needed a new ccc.

Forgot to add, I still have audio and I'm able to use the idrive controller blind.
